A short absurd story about two parallel worlds existing simultaneously in one and the same country which clash unexpectedly during a cold winter for the time it takes to smoke a single cigarette.


The film has been produced within 15 – the first BG omnibus film. A project by Martichka Bozhilova, Boris Missirkov and Georgi Bogdanov at the invitation of Capital weekly.

Stephan Komandarev
Bulgarian director, born in 1966. He graduated from the Medical Academy at Sofia (1993) and the New Bulgarian University (1998), with a degree in film & TV directing. The World is Big and Salvation Lurks around the Corner is his second full-length feature film.
