An elderly professor explains the very method of cooking a hard boiled egg. He demonstrates it in such a great detail that soon the egg begins to look like an object of mysterious substance, the consumption of which is not to be taken carelessly. The film is based on Eugene Ionesco’s monologue “How to prepare a hard-boiled egg”.
