Bulgarian director, born in 1953, Sofia. After studying French civilization at the Sorbonne, he graduated from the Louis Lumiere institute in 1978. He began his career as assistant to Louis Lumiere institute in 1978. His debut feature film I, the Countess won the Jury Prize at Angers.
